Utilizing the bundled approach of using the website in conjunction with the CRM provides a more measureable and integrated approach to managing all types of campaigns. 

We use the website to help measure the campaigns whether they be direct mail or email.  Landing pages for either campaign types are created and vital for measurement of the campaign effectiveness. 

Email campaigns have typically been viewed as self-contained within the email vendor's website.  All measurement and data had to come from the email vendor.  This no longer necessary with the bundled Website/CRM approach that Hot Peppers takes. 

Here are some of the highlights of the campaign management process that we suggest every customer embark upon.  The Hot Peppers combined website CMS and CRM can provide for the following process flow:

  • Identify a target audience
  • Create content and a message that will appeal to this target audience
  • Create landing pages and/or links that get embedded in the direct mail or email message
  • Identify goals of the campaign and cross check the budget before execution
  • Execute the campaign and monitor the landing page/link hit count, if applicable over the 1st 24 hours
  • Determine the open percentage and message interest level based upon percentages
  • 7 days from the initial campaign measure known attributes
  • Determine success and failure of the campaign, potentially re-adjust the target list
